The Climate Reality Project: Capital Region, NY Chapter

The Climate Reality Project: Capital Region, NY Chapter, is a group of community members and Climate Reality trained leaders who work together to raise awareness of the climate crisis and advocate for solutions. We are part of the New York State Climate Reality Coalition and The Climate Reality Project, which was founded by Nobel Laureate and former U.S. Vice-President Al Gore to equip people with the tools, training, and network to fight for climate solutions and drive change planet-wide.

Our chapter’s mission is to educate the public about climate science and solutions, build coalitions with other climate activists, and conduct issue advocacy campaigns in order to bring about the rapid and just implementation of economy-wide climate solutions at the local, state, and national levels as well as the development of resiliency plans.

Chapter membership is open to all interested individuals.  For more information about The Climate Reality Project and to join our chapter, please visit and
